Construction Manager

About the role

This full-time, on-site position is based in Harrison, New York. The Construction Manager / Superintendent oversees all aspects of on-site construction, ensuring projects meet plans, specifications, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect jobs in process and at completion
• Manage and schedule the construction team and subcontractors
• Approve subcontractor invoices
• Obtain all permits and order required building materials
• Maintain a safe and healthy jobsite
• Oversee customer care work and schedule required building inspections
• Collaborate with the sales team to create a smooth buying process for homebuyers
• Conduct pre-settlement inspections with homeowners
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of 3–5 years of related experience, including scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, and production of all phases of residential construction
• Thorough knowledge of all construction trades
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Qualifications

• Ability to manage projects, set priorities, and focus on detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience managing individuals and teams, including task allocation, performance feedback, and motivation
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Preferred: Knowledge of BuildPro software
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Pay

Salary range: $55,000 – $91,800, plus a per-home bonus program and a monthly mobile device allowance.
