Construction Manager

About the role
This full-time, on-site position is based in Harrison, New York. The Construction Manager / Superintendent oversees all aspects of on-site construction, ensuring projects meet plans, specifications, and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Inspect jobs in process and at completion
- Manage and schedule the construction team and subcontractors
- Approve subcontractor invoices
- Obtain all permits and order required building materials
- Maintain a safe and healthy jobsite
- Oversee customer care work and schedule required building inspections
- Collaborate with the sales team to create a smooth buying process for homebuyers
- Conduct pre-settlement inspections with homeowners
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum of 3–5 years of related experience, including scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, and production of all phases of residential construction
- Thorough knowledge of all construction trades
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Qualifications
- Ability to manage projects, set priorities, and focus on detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience managing individuals and teams, including task allocation, performance feedback, and motivation
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Preferred: Knowledge of BuildPro software
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Pay
Salary range: $55,000 – $91,800, plus a per-home bonus program and a monthly mobile device allowance.
