We are seeking a motivated Construction Manager to join our team in support of an EHRM modernization project for the Department of Veteran’s Affairs at the Tampa VA Medical Center in Tampa, FL.

Responsibilities

  • Support construction activities, including generating reports and serving as a client-side representative.
  • Collaborate with VA client staff to ensure project success.
  • Manage construction schedules and analyze project data.
  • Coordinate field inspections, tests, and track deficiencies.
  • Handle submittals, request for information (RFI), change orders, and contract administration.
  • Create and maintain as-built documentation and manage project closeouts.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and coordinate project communications.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office and construction management software.

Requirements

  • Education: Construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field from an accredited University.
  • Experience: 7+ years project management experience. Fifteen (15) years of directly related experience may substitute for educational requirements.
  • Licenses/Credentials: None required.

Skills

  • Federal construction project management experience.
  • Healthcare facility construction experience.
  • Construction schedule management and analysis.
  • Field inspections, testing coordination, and deficiency tracking.
  • Submittal, RFI, change order, and contract administration experience.
  • Reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Experience with as-built documentation and project closeout activities.
  • Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.

Benefits

The pay range for this role is: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 USD per year (Tampa, FL).
