Responsibilities

• Command complex construction projects from groundbreaking to ribbon cutting
• Collaborate with brilliant minds to deliver game-changing projects
• Forge infrastructure that sets new standards of quality and safety

• Provide evaluations and written recommendations for optimizing efficiency and productivity
• Lead and mentor project teams, facilitate project meetings, and author project management correspondence
• Work closely with the design team, materials, environmental, and traffic engineering groups

Requirements

• VDOT Expertise: Mastery of VDOT's rigorous standards and regulations
• Materials and Safety Knowledge: Ensure projects adhere to strict quality, safety, and environmental standards
• Technical Proficiency: Skilled in materials testing equipment and proficient in construction management software
• Leadership and Management: Unmatched leadership and management prowess
• Education: A B.S. in Civil Engineering is required
• Extensive Construction Experience: A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience, with 10 years preferred
• Credentials: Professional Engineer (PE) License in Virginia and Certified Construction Manager (CCM) designations are preferred

Pay

The compensation for this role is $93,600 - $135,200 per year.

Schedule

This position requires operating a company vehicle. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to meet company driving eligibility requirements, including a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review.
