Construction Manager

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Construction Project Management (e.g. observation of the construction work, project progress reports, project team coordination for all construction submittals, direct client and CMF coordination, timely delivery of responses to all construction submittals, RFI’s, RFC’s, CO’s, etc.).
• QA/QC reviews and compliance.
• Function as Onsite Safety Officer (will be trained upon hiring); Work with Construction Contractor in expediting solutions to technical field problems.
• Review all construction submittals.
• Coverage of all design changes and construction submittals, and participate in the negotiation of change orders specific to design changes.
• Notification to the client of any observed work that does not conform to the requirements of the contract documents.
• Participation in and documentation of all construction meetings onsite (e.g. daily tailgate/safety meetings, weekly construction meetings, etc.).
• Meet document control requirements, including filing of all construction-related documents.

Qualifications

• Certified Construction Manager OR Professional Engineer (PE).
