Construction Manager
About the Role
Fermi America is developing the largest next-generation private power campus in the United States to serve the compute demand of artificial intelligence. Project Matador, our flagship development in Carson County, Texas, is planned to scale to approximately 17 GW of generation, comprising roughly 11 GW of natural gas, 5.4 GW of nuclear, and 600 MW of solar, supporting millions of square feet of high-density data center infrastructure. The Construction Manager is Fermi America's owner representative in the field for an assigned construction area, accountable for the safe and productive delivery of the work.

- Safety and Environmental: Set and enforce safety standards, ensure compliance with environmental permit conditions, and coordinate with HSSE and Permitting.
- Quality: Ensure work meets specifications, coordinate with QA/QC, and drive systems completion readiness.
- Owner Furnished Equipment and Logistics: Manage equipment receipt, laydown, and issue, coordinate deliveries, and maintain laydown yard organization.
- Schedule, Cost, and Commercial Support: Review contractor progress, identify field changes, support invoice verification, and provide field substantiation for change orders.
