Construction Manager

About the role
We are seeking an On-Site Senior Construction Manager to manage and coordinate the installation of PLC-based automation systems for data center clients. You will report to the Project Manager of your assigned projects, working with our internal team, the General Contractor, and other trade partners to ensure the installation portion of the project is completed safely, on time, on budget, and meets contract requirements. You must be local to the Atlanta area and willing to report on-site.
Responsibilities
- Be in charge of E Tech’s Low Voltage Subcontractor scope and schedule as it pertains to the installation of the project.
- Be responsible for delivering the installation portion of a given project on time and on budget, as defined by the Project Manager.
- Be responsible for communications between client and subcontractors by working closely with the Project Manager.
- Work with the Project Manager to develop the staffing and resource plan, and quality control plan to meet the client’s schedule objectives.
- Maintain firm control of scope and compliance with contract requirements. Ensure that the subcontractor scope is well defined and communicated, and proactively communicate and obtain any required Change Orders. Develop additional scope opportunities that may serve the client’s objectives.
- Communicate project progress to the team and to the client and be an effective advocate for the project team.
- Identify project risks in advance and mobilize the necessary resources to mitigate risks.

Requirements
- BS Engineering or Construction Management degree, or equivalent educational background.
- 10 years of experience in large project construction management.
- Knowledge and expertise of Low Voltage installation of conduit, cable, etc.
- Proficiency in the utilization of project and construction management principles, methods, and tools.
- Experience in industrial controls for data centers, building management, consumer products, automotive, food & beverage, process industries, energy management, or similar.
- Experience in the management of subcontractors.
- A DNA comprised of collaboration and teamwork.
