Construction Manager

About the role
EnTech is looking for a Full-Time Construction Manager for a NYCDPR project in Staten Island. The role involves overseeing construction activities including earthwork, roadways, storm water drainage structures, soil testing, utility, and dewatering.
Responsibilities
- Pre-Construction contract review
- Daily inspection and supervision
- Review, record, and track all submittals
- Monitoring Contract Cost and Schedule
- Documentation of Contractor Performance
- QA/QC reviews and compliance
- Prepare all necessary reports, including daily, weekly, and project progress reports
- Work with the client and Construction Contractor in expediting solutions to technical field problems
- Project team coordination for all construction submittals, and timely delivery of responses to all construction RFI’s, CO’s, etc.
- Coordinate with Lead Design Engineer and Design Team discipline leads on all design changes and construction submittals
- Participate in the negotiation of change orders specific to design changes
- Manage and document all meetings on site, including site meetings and coordination meetings
Requirements
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in civil engineering, landscape architecture, and architectural construction
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in landfill construction and in the construction of remediation and construction on contaminated sites under the regulatory oversight of the DEP/DEC
- Proficiency with Procore project management software
- Working knowledge of building construction and relevant State Codes and FDNY, and ability to apply that knowledge accordingly
- Experience in construction activities, including earthwork, roadways, storm water drainage structures, soil testing, utility, and dewatering
Qualifications
- New York State Professional Engineering (P.E) License (preferred)
Pay
Estimated annual compensation: $120,000–$180,000
