About the role

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Construction Manager. The expected annual salary range for this role is $97,000 - $143,000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

What You’ll Do

• Lead full-cycle project delivery—from planning and budgeting to scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management
• Conduct thorough reviews of technical requirements, scope of work, and timelines during project handoff
• Leverage project management tools and software to track milestones, manage deliverables, and ensure on-site execution stays on course
• Facilitate and lead project meetings, maintaining clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders

• Coordinate Eaton’s work around other trades to maximize efficiency and minimize disruption
• Manage project closeout activities including punch lists, issue resolution, warranty handoff, and transition to ownership
• Act as the primary on-site contact for all EESS-related activities throughout the project lifecycle
• Partner with District Operations to promote and enforce safety initiatives across all job sites
• Oversee financial performance through cost control, change order management, and risk mitigation
• Collaborate with commercial operations, sales engineers, and technical support teams to align client expectations with project deliverables
• Implement strategic program-level changes and initiatives from the Strategic Operations team
• Mentor and guide team members, sharing expertise in project management and operational excellence to build team capability
• Travel up to 50% of the time

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum 10 years progressive experience in construction management, site supervision or project coordination, including at least 5 years leading electrical, industrial or general construction projects OR Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant construction management experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or project management role.
• This role is designated as a Regular Driver per Eaton’s Driver Safety Policy and requires a current, unrestricted driver’s license along with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record. Candidates will be subject to a motor vehicle record check upon hire.
