About the role
Firm assisting Federal agencies in managing design and construction of real estate projects seeks a construction manager.
Responsibilities
- Successfully manage design and construction of at least one capital project valued over $10 million for a college or university.
- Manage design-build projects.
- Manage projects upgrades to facilities on the National Historic Register.
- Manage projects involving hazardous materials, particularly asbestos and lead.
- Prepare, track, and manage budgets and schedules.
- Manage projects in a multi-stakeholder, demanding end user environment.
Requirements
- Additional consideration given to candidates with experience managing projects for Federal agencies.
- Experience preparing analyses of contractor claims.
- Experience preparing reports in dashboard format.
- Certification by the Construction Management Certification Institute (CMC Institute) or the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Qualifications
- Experience managing projects for colleges and universities.
- Knowledge of Federal agency projects preferred.

Pay
Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year.
