Construction Management Intern - Summer 2027

About the Role

Pepper Construction is looking for qualified, intelligent students with a passion for learning about the construction industry to experience life with a commercial general contractor. You will be paired with a Project Manager and/or Superintendent on one of our construction teams.

Responsibilities

• Processing submittals
• Take-offs
• Potentially preparing budgets
• Attending job site/owner meetings
• Participating in training sessions, jobsite tours, and safety activities

You will work directly with many aspects of project management and gain hands-on experience with a reputable general contractor in the Indianapolis Area, with exposure to both field and office environments.

Requirements

• Current college student entering their Sophomore, Junior or Senior year studying Construction Management or a similar discipline
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn and apply new technology
• Ability to work independently while still contributing and collaborating in a team
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
• Reliable transportation to and from work-related activities and assignments
• Ability and desire to work on an active construction site in central Indiana
