About the role

The Construction Management Coordinator provides administrative and clerical support to the department leaders with various functional responsibilities and assists with departmental operations as required.

Responsibilities

  • Contract execution
  • Maintains files
  • Answers telephones
  • Prepares multiple reports including cost updates
  • Schedules meetings and appointments
  • Creates and distributes meeting minutes
  • Invoice processing
  • Purchasing
  • Create and maintain project folders
  • Provide billing information
  • Respond to routine mail correspondence
  • Assists the department staff with issues, problems and projects as directed
  • Supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service
  • Participates in performance improvement efforts
  • Demonstrate commitment to team work and cooperation

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree or specialized secretarial training preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of administrative experience related to construction and/or project management. Well-developed communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required. Proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft office suite required.

Schedule

The Construction Management Coordinator works primarily from a desk/computer and may occasionally walk, stand, and lift up to 20 lbs. Position requires increased amounts of repetitive motion with regard to typing.

Skills

The Construction Management Coordinator must demonstrate the competencies as established on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool.
