Construction Maintenance -Greenville, MS

Safety-sensitive position.

Schedule

7:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, overtime and callouts as needed including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and construction of facilities used to store, dry, and mill rice products
• Grounds preparation and concrete construction
• Other duties as requested by supervisor

Requirements

• Willing and able to cut, weld, and operate machinery such as forklifts and sky tracks
• Possess extensive skills in hand and power tools
• Willing and able to lift up to 110 lbs
• Willing and able to bend, stoop, twist, turn, push, pull, and crawl throughout the day
• Willing and able to ride man-lifts
• Willing and able to climb to and work at heights up to 200 feet
• Willing and able to tolerate working in hot and cold temperatures for extended periods
• Willing and able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time
• Available for callouts at all times during harvest season and able to respond within 35 minutes
• Able to do basic math (+, -, *, /) and read a tape measure
• At least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license to drive a company vehicle
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Willing and able to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
• Willing and able to follow all safety and food safety rules

Preferences

• Construction, millwright, and/or industrial maintenance experience preferred
