Building Maintenance

What You Will Be Doing

• Paint and perform structural repairs to masonry, woodwork, and furnishings of our building.
• Engage in ground maintenance activities, such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, snow removal, removing weeds, and raking and disposing of leaves, and refuse.
• Perform general cleaning and upkeep of the bakery, including buffing, dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, plumbing, and washing windows.
• Assist other departments as requested, including moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies.
• Inspect completed work for conformance to blueprints, specifications, and standards.
• Adhere to company policies and safety regulations.
• Adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.

What We Need From You

• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One to three years of industrial maintenance experience and a mechanical aptitude.
• Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to handle multiple tasks with capability of prioritizing and planning work activities.
• Accurate and thorough with ability to improve and promote quality and safety.
• Excellent trouble shooting skills.
• Ability to recognize and encourage the behaviors that contribute to teamwork.
• Able to communicate and work effectively with all associates in a team environment.
• Detail oriented.
