About the role

Fennemore, an Am Law 200 law firm, seeks an associate attorney with three to seven years of quality experience in construction litigation to join their growing Denver office.

Responsibilities

  • Primary focus on construction law, with overall case management responsibilities including written discovery, depositions, motion practice, contract review, and court proceedings.
  • Experience reviewing and drafting construction contracts, including familiarity with the AIA suite and ConsensusDocs.
  • Involvement with construction industry associations or related professional organizations is preferred.
  • May work on a hybrid basis but should be available to attend hearings, depositions, meetings, site visits, client events, and other in-person obligations in Denver and surrounding areas as needed.

Pay

Total expected annual compensation at 1,850 hours is expected to be $190,000 to $225,000, of which $150,000 to $185,000 is paid monthly and $10,000 per quarter if minimum hours are hit. Additionally, the firm has an objective bonus system, with the average amount for full-year lawyers exceeding $30,000 in 2025. On top of this, the firm has a subjective bonus system. Actual compensation varies based on experience, performance, and billable hours. Full compensation and benefits details will be provided to candidates during the hiring process, consistent with applicable pay transparency laws.

Schedule

The position offers a hybrid schedule, allowing for flexibility while requiring availability for in-person obligations in Denver and surrounding areas as needed.
