About the Role
Our client, a respected regional law firm, is seeking a Construction Litigation Associate to join its Jacksonville office. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing construction litigation practice and work on complex disputes while gaining meaningful courtroom experience and client exposure.
Responsibilities
- Handle complex commercial litigation, with a focus on construction litigation
- Participate in hearings and depositions
- Conduct legal research and writing
- Advocate for clients in court
- Manage client relationships
- Engage in business development (a plus)
Requirements
- 3–5 years of litigation experience, including complex commercial litigation
- Construction litigation experience preferred
- Experience with hearings and depositions preferred
- Strong research, writing, advocacy, and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable appearing in court and managing client relationships
- Technical background and interest in business development are a plus
- Active Florida bar license required
Pay
$140,000 – $165,000
