Responsibilities
- Assisting with on-site supervision of field crew members to ensure quality work is being completed in a timely manner
- Ability to manage small projects in the absence of Field Supervisor, in a Safe and productive manner
- Assisting On-site Management with Developing crew schedules, manpower layout assignments and ensuring work has been completed according to plans and specifications
- Assisting with completing daily field reports, managing material delivery and speed memos for customers and internal management
- Ensuring and mentoring crew members operating tools and equipment in a safe, proper and productive manner
- Assisting Foreman and Superintendent in evaluating various production rates related to the project
Requirements
- 6-10 years of civil construction experience (industrial experience preferred)
- Computer skills (Excel, Word, and basic construction applications)
- Working knowledge of concrete repair, carpentry, rebar, sandblasting, equipment use, and drawing interpretation
- Well organized and dependable
- Clean driving record
- Highly committed to jobsite safety
- Motivated to grow into a Foreman role and take on increased responsibility
- Willingness to travel out of town when required
