In this role, you’ll assist installation technicians in preparing sites for fiber line installation. This is a physically active, outdoor position located in Columbia Missouri—perfect for those who enjoy hands-on work and seeing the results of their efforts every day. What You’ll Do Key responsibilities include: Prepare and optimize sites for fiber drop installationLoad, unload, and maintain tools and equipmentDig trenches and operate machinery such as a vibratory plowAssist with traffic control when working in public rights-of-wayKeep equipment clean and job sites organizedFollow all safety procedures and company standardsMaintain reliable attendance and a clean driving recordPerform other duties as assigned What We’re Looking For To be considered for this role, you'll need the following required qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent.Previous labor or construction experienceAbility to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 75 lbs.Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditionsBasic knowledge of construction or utility work (preferred) Desired Attributes Beyond the qualifications, these attributes are what make someone a great fit for our team: Strong time-management and teamwork skillsAttention to safety and detailFlexibility and a positive attitude Why Join Socket Fiber?
