Construction Laborer (Concrete) - Clinton Engineering
About the role
A member of the McCarthy-Bush family of companies, Clinton Engineering (CEC) is a full-service general contractor and recognized leader in construction for the Clinton Community and surrounding areas since 1926. Specializing in design-build, new construction, rehabilitation and renovation of commercial, industrial and municipal projects, CEC boasts a local, experienced workforce who self-perform in variety of trades from carpentry work to concrete paving, steel fabrication & erection, excavation and more.
Responsibilities
- Play a vital role in concrete forming, puddling, and finishing.
- Perform other disciplines such as Epoxy Flooring preparation and installation.
- Routine operation of machinery including: Skid steers, AWP/Scissors lifts, rollers, excavators, and heavy trucks.
- Work alongside a team to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
- Prior experience in steel erection, concrete work, or carpentry is highly preferred.
Physical Capability
- Enjoy working in a physically demanding role, including regularly lifting over 50 pounds, crouching, climbing ladders, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Schedule
Monday through Friday 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with the option for overtime.
Pay
The pay for this position starts $20.00/hour, based on previous experience.
