Construction Laborer

About the role

We are looking for a competent Construction Laborer Candidate. You will be the one to help maintain cleanliness & general labor/assisting task at our warehouse/yard. You must have physical strength, endurance and work well with your hands. Being good in collaboration and following instructions and safety rules are important. Family owned and operated for over 30+ years. Great company to work for! Room for growth!

Responsibilities

• Assist tradesmen
• Erect and break up wood crates, etc. with attention to safety
• Unload shipments and carry materials at warehouse using forklift
• Use equipment to break old forms and structures
• Clean/unload multiple trucks from debris from job sites and discarded material
• Light Janitorial - Clean Restrooms/Toilets/Etc.
• Sweep Floor
• Pull weeds/clean sidewalk

Skills & Qualifications

• Exposure to all weather conditions
• Noise levels may be loud at times
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs, stand for long periods
• Proven experience as construction worker
• Experience in operating equipment like drills, hammers, ladders, saws, etc.
• Knowledge of basic engineering and construction principles and methods
• Able to work in a team
• Able to read instructions and blueprints when needed
• Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
• Excellent balance and eye-hand coordination
• Must have a clean driving record
