Key Responsibilities

• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials
• Follow established safety rules and regulations
• Verify trueness of structure
• Shape or cut materials to specified measurements
• Assemble and fasten materials to make framework or props
• Build or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, windows, floors, and other wooden fixtures
• Measure, cut and install trim, baseboard and casing with accuracy
• Fill cracks and other defects in plaster or plasterboard and sand patch

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED
• Previous construction management experience
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Able to meet established production goals and maintain profitability
• Effective written and oral communication skills

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

• Exposure to extreme conditions such as heat
• Ability to walk and/or stand for long periods of times (i.e., driving, sitting, climbing)
• Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
• Exposure to noise levels at jobsites that can be loud
• Must be able to apply different applications properly
