Construction Laborer
About the role
Sargent is searching for Laborers in the Piedmont-Triad area. No experience is required! If you enjoy working outside performing manual labor using rakes, shovels, compactors, and brute strength, we want to hear from you. Landscaping or farm-work experience is a plus.
In this role, you will travel throughout the region to work on infrastructure projects including landfills, airports, site development, and others. Although these positions may require travel, Sargent pays for travel expenses including lodging, mileage, and per diem for meals—plus you will be home every weekend.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks using tools such as rakes, shovels, and compactors
- Work on infrastructure projects including landfills, airports, site development, and utility projects
- Travel regionally for projects (travel expenses covered)
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Driver’s license (required)
- Willingness to travel 75% (preferred)
- 1 year of construction experience (preferred)

From $20.00 per hour (based on experience level)

10–12-hour shifts, full-time
