Construction Laborer

Summary of Duties

• Performs tasks involving physical labor at commercial construction sites.
• Operates a variety of hand and power tools.
• Cleans and prepares sites, digs trenches, erects and breaks down scaffolding.
• Affords assistance to craft workers as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Willingness and ability to perform manual work following verbal and/or written instruction.
• Must be in good physical condition in order to push, pull, carry objects and perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of proper and safe use of equipment, materials and supplies used in heavy construction work.
• General knowledge of various building types and construction methods.
