Role Overview

The Construction Laborer supports heavy civil construction projects by performing tasks such as site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation. Emphasizing safety, teamwork, and quality, the position involves working outdoors in various weather conditions to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow and promote all safety policies and procedures, reporting incidents and hazards.
• Prepare construction sites by clearing hazards and performing excavation, backfilling, and grading tasks.
• Assist in positioning, joining, or sealing structural components like concrete walls and pipes.
• Load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and equipment per project specifications.
• Dismantle forms for concrete pouring and complete equipment reports.
• Handle tools and equipment safely, maintaining organized work areas.

Qualifications & Attributes

• 2-5 years of heavy civil construction experience.
• Ability to follow verbal instructions and perform strenuous work in varying weather.
• Physically capable of bending, pushing, pulling, and twisting.
• Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and a team-oriented attitude.
• Dependable, dedicated, with a strong work ethic and professionalism.
