Construction Laborer

About the role

BrandSafway is seeking a Construction Laborer to join their team in Hastings, Nebraska.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor duties in accordance with company and site safety policies
• Maintain cleanliness of office trailers, work areas, and common spaces
• Collect and dispose of trash and debris throughout the job site
• Auxiliary traffic control by setting up and removing cones, barricades, and other site control devices
• Perform snow and ice removal, grounds maintenance, and general site upkeep activities
• Refill and maintain water stations and other site support resources as needed
• Serve as a spotter for trucks, forklifts, and other equipment to support safe site operations
• Auxiliary office trailer setup, relocation, and basic site preparations
• Follow job site plans and directions from supervisors and site management
• Maintain compliance with all safety, environmental, and operational requirements

Requirements

• OSHA 10 certification required
• Ability to perform general construction labor and site support activities
• Ability to safely use basic hand tools and equipment
• Strong commitment to safety and following established procedures
• Ability to work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
