Construction Laborer

About the role

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a preference for high quality and technical expertise. The position requires above-average attention to detail, a strong concern for the quality of work, and a commitment to completing tasks on time. The person in this role will take work seriously with a strong sense of duty and work in a faster-than-average-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and care for construction equipment and machines.
• Assist Fireproofing Installers, Spray Foam Installers, and other skilled labor as required.
• Prepare construction sites by hanging poly sheeting using ladders, scaffolding, or Scissor lifts.
• Hand load/unload (30lb–60lb) construction materials/equipment at the warehouse and job site.
• Load/unload palletized materials.
• Assemble and disassemble temporary structures, such as scaffolding or tents.
• Follow instructions from supervisors, skilled tradesmen, and management.
• Perform site clean-up, including sweeping and removing trash.

Requirements

• Pass a background check and drug test screening.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to perform physical labor and other strenuous tasks.
• Willingness and ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Adherence to established guidelines and procedures.
• Conservative, careful, and cautious approach to work.
• Commitment to completing work on time and correctly.
• Must be punctual and reliable.

Pay

$20.00 per hour to start.

Schedule

• Full-time, Monday–Friday.
• Workday starts at 6:00 AM at the shop; you will leave in a company truck for the jobsite and be paid for drive time to and from the site.
• End-of-day return time varies (typically between 4:00 PM and 5:30 PM).
• Occasional Saturdays (with at least one week’s notice).
