About the role

Interns at ms consultants gain real‑world business and construction experience by working on live projects within the Transportation Business Unit, supporting clients with innovative solutions to real‑life design challenges. You’ll work closely with an assigned manager and mentor on assignments related to your field of study, applying classroom learning to practical work.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate functional and business capabilities through meaningful work experience.
• Collaborate with a manager and mentor on field‑of‑study assignments.
• Contribute to live transportation projects, helping overcome design challenges.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to perform field work (carrying ladders/gear, working at heights, climbing, hot weather, etc.).
• Willingness to travel out of town for inspections; mileage and travel reimbursed.
• Detail‑oriented with strong technical skills.
• Experience with MicroStation or AutoCAD preferred but not required.
• Fast learner, detail‑oriented, able to work in a team environment.
• Good verbal and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering or related degree program.
