Construction Internship - Summer 2027

LandSouth's internship program gives you the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in ground-up multifamily construction and learn what it takes to successfully manage a project. You’ll work with our team to build your knowledge of project management practices, construction processes, and industry-specific software, while gaining exposure to the different areas of construction that come together throughout a project. It’s a great opportunity to learn, ask questions, and get a better understanding of what a career in multifamily could look like! Below is a high-level overview of what you will learn over the course of the summer: Preconstruction Explore how conceptual and hard bids are developedPractice performing a material take-offJoin the plan review process Safety Participate in a job site safety standdownComplete a mock safety inspectionEarn your OSHA 10 certification Office Operations Get certified in Procore project management softwareUnderstand the permitting processAttend a project hand-off meeting Field Operations Accompany inspectors on site visitsContribute to schedule review meetingsAssist with subcontractor coordination What We're Looking For Students seeking a career path in the multifamily construction industry (large-scale luxury apartment, affordable housing, and/or senior living)Currently enrolled in a university or trade school program focused on Construction Management or a related fieldAuthorized to work in the United StatesValid Driver's LicenseAbility to pass a background check, in accordance with local law/regulations We are currently accepting applications for Summer 2027.
