Construction Inspector (TCI)

We are looking for Construction Inspectors to join our growing team in the eastern PA region. We are constantly winning new contracts and are looking for new inspectors to staff these projects.

Responsibilities

• Monitor contractor work for conformance to design plans, specifications, and general permit requirements.
• Track daily quantities and complete daily inspection reports.
• Review payment requisitions.
• Maintain field sketchbooks and as-built drawings.
• Perform physical tasks in the field: walking across rough or uneven terrain, navigating active project sites (climbing ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles), bending, twisting, kneeling, climbing, remaining stationary for extended periods, repetitive wrist/hand/finger motions, lifting up to 50 pounds, carting up to 50 lbs up to 100 yards, driving to/from sites up to or exceeding 120 miles round trip.
• Function safely in environments with potential risks, work from heights exceeding 6 feet, wear and inspect safety harness.
• Willing to work nights and overtime when required.
• Work in varying environmental conditions (high/low temperatures, precipitation, outdoor elements), noisy conditions, confined/enclosed spaces.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of specific field construction inspection experience (or associate/bachelor’s degree substituted for experience).
• High School Diploma or State Equivalency Certificate for inspection positions; BS Civil Engineering and/or CCM certification for Resident Engineer and Construction Management roles.
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for travel to assigned construction sites.
• Additional desirable certifications: NECEPT Bituminous, NECEPT Concrete, all NICET Levels, ATSS
