Construction Inspector
Key Responsibilities
- Perform field testing of construction materials (soils, concrete, and steel)
- Communicate with project managers and sub-contractors regarding inspection, observation, and testing results
- Transportation of sample materials for laboratory analysis
- Preparation of field data and technical reports
- Travel to various construction sites to perform inspections
Qualifications
- 1 year experience in field construction inspection and testing
- Associates Degree
- Nuclear Density Gauge Operator certification
- Prior experience with geotechnical and/or environmental field investigation highly preferred
- ACI, AASHTO, or ICC certifications highly preferred
