About the role
We are seeking a candidate for the position of Traffic Planning & Design. This role involves planning and designing traffic systems to improve safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement traffic flow optimization strategies
- Conduct traffic studies and analyze data to inform design decisions
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to ensure compliance with local regulations
- Prepare and present project proposals to clients and authorities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in traffic planning and design
- Proficiency in traffic simulation software and GIS tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of traffic engineering standards and best practices
- Experience with traffic signal design and intersection analysis
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with traffic modeling software (e.g., CORSIM, VISSIM)
- Understanding of traffic control devices and signage
- Knowledge of traffic engineering software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS)
