Construction Inspector I

Responsibilities
- Observe and document construction activities according to project specifications
- Track and report project progress and status
- Work closely with the owner, project management team, and contractors
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and quality control programs
- Aid project staff in change order processing and pay item tracking
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of comparable field experience
- Preferred 2-4 years of related experience
- ACI certification with experience in post-pour and pre-pour inspections, concrete mapping, and rehabilitation
- Certified Welding Inspector certification
- Two-year technical degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent
- Traffic Control Supervisor, Transportation Erosion Control Supervisor, Flagger, ACI or related certifications for Asphalt and/or Concrete
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency in reading and understanding construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
- Experience with computer programs such as Microsoft Office, Project/Primavera, and Procore
- Familiarity with GIS database systems and applications
- Strong math skills and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to work approximately 75-80% in the field, nights, weekends, and more than 40 hours per week

Pay
The target base compensation range for this role is $28.50 – $38.75 per hour, with factors such as job-specific skills, education, training, job location, and years of experience determining your actual salary.
Schedule
This position will be posted for a minimum of 3 days and will continue to be posted for an average of 60 days until a qualified applicant is selected or the position has been cancelled.
