Your Opportunity + Impact
LDG is currently seeking an experienced Transportation Construction Inspector (TCI) to support an upcoming project.
Responsibilities
- Inspects, observes, and documents construction activities for Transportation and/or Civil projects.
- Uses various computer software programs to document observations and creates inspection reports.
- Continuously monitors work of team to ensure timely completion of project.
- Interacts in a professional manner with clients, contractors, sub-contractors, government agency representatives, and other parties on a regular basis.
- Communicates information, responds to inquiries, and helps resolve field issues to ensure successful completion of projects.
- Responsible for obtaining and maintaining required certifications.
- Utilizes technical references appropriately for the inspection of structural, concrete, earthwork, building, and mechanical components.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience with PennDOT, PA Turnpike, or related construction inspection experience.
- NICET Level II or higher in Highway Construction, NECEPT Bituminous Field & Concrete, and ACI preferred.
- Must possess valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient in CDS NeXtGen or Kahua software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet project deadlines effectively.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a project team.
