Construction Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing of construction materials (soils, concrete, asphalt, and steel)
• Communicate with project managers and sub-contractors regarding inspection, observation, and testing results
• Transportation of sample materials for laboratory analysis
• Preparation of field data and technical reports
• Travel to various construction sites to perform inspections with extensive travel to Columbus, OH

Requirements

• Nuclear Density Gauge Operator certification
• ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade 1
• Prior experience with geotechnical and/or environmental field investigation highly preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in field construction inspection and testing
• ICC Soils
• ICC Reinforced Concrete
• ICC Concrete Placement
• ICC Structural Steel and Bolting

Pay

Hourly Pay Range: $28 USD - $30 USD
