Construction Inspector

About the role

We are seeking a Construction Inspector with a paving background to join TYLin's PMCM Sector. Together, we enhance conventional designs with smarter, more resilient systems, provide people with better mobility, and steward precious resources by finding more sustainable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Completes daily inspection reports in the applicable format.
• Assists with creating meeting agendas and minutes; distribute and file.
• Assures documentation and accuracy of monthly progress payments.
• Assists with creating draft Contract Change Orders.
• Performs oversight of materials testing.
• Assures general compliance with MaineDOT standards and specifications.
• Assists with resident and office engineering duties.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements

• At least 3+ years of experience with construction inspection and daily report writing preferred.
• Experience with MaineDOT is a plus.
• Reliable transportation required.

Pay

Base compensation range of $83,200 - $124,800 annually for this position, with adjustments based on local market and candidate’s unique skills, experience, education, and competencies.
