About the role
The role involves traffic planning and design, focusing on developing and implementing strategies to improve road safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Develop and analyze traffic flow data to identify areas for improvement.
- Design and implement traffic management systems and infrastructure improvements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with local and national traffic regulations.
- Conduct research and provide recommendations for enhancing traffic flow and reducing congestion.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in traffic planning and design.
- Proficiency in traffic simulation software and GIS tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of traffic engineering standards and best practices.
- Experience with traffic signal design and intersection analysis.
- Understanding of urban planning and transportation policy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with traffic modeling software (e.g., CORSIM, VISSIM).
- Strong understanding of traffic engineering principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Pay
Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
