About the role

We are seeking a candidate for the position of Traffic Planning & Design. This role involves planning and designing traffic systems and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement traffic management plans
• Conduct traffic studies and analyze data
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve traffic flow
• Design and optimize traffic infrastructure
• Ensure compliance with traffic regulations and standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in traffic planning and design
• Knowledge of traffic engineering software and tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• Experience with traffic simulation models
• Knowledge of traffic signal timing and control

Skills

• Proficiency in traffic engineering software (e.g., MicroSim, VISSIM)
• Strong understanding of traffic flow theory and transportation planning principles
• Ability to work with GIS and mapping software
• Excellent organizational and project management skills

Pay

The starting salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule
