About the role
We are seeking a Construction Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations during construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Inspect construction sites to ensure adherence to safety standards and building codes.
- Review plans and specifications for compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Issue permits and make recommendations for corrective actions when necessary.
- Document findings and communicate issues to project managers and clients.
- Participate in meetings and training sessions related to construction inspection.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction inspection.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Skills
- Proficient in using construction inspection software.
- Experience with quality assurance and risk management.
- Strong attention to detail.
