About the role

The Ann Arbor, Michigan office is looking for an experienced Civil Construction Inspector to join a purpose-driven organization that helps clients, colleagues, and communities thrive.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the Construction Manager and our Clients in the field by providing single-point field inspection of contractor's work on infrastructure projects.
  • Read and follow construction drawings, collaborate with construction inspection team members, learn construction specifications and requirements, check-in materials at the job sites.
  • Perform construction inspections, contractor observations, and communications.
  • Compile daily reports and safety forms, obtain field measurements, track quantities, and complete as-built mark-ups on plans.
  • Join punch list walkthroughs and assist with project close-out processes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five (5) years of construction experience required.
  • Experience with Construction Inspection is preferred.
  • Experience with civil, underground utilities, concrete, and asphalt projects is preferred.
  • Knowledge of computer software, i.e. MS Office, Outlook, Adobe, or Bluebeam PDF.

Pay
