Responsibilities
- Observe, oversee, and inspect construction work and prepare daily inspection reports and reviews.
- Conduct daily project inspections to ensure compliance with regulations, permits, and environmental restrictions.
- Review and analyze coordinated sets of job plans and report deviations from plans and specifications to the client, subcontractor, and/or supervisor.
- Possess a demonstrated knowledge of construction techniques, design, MDOT specifications and documents.
- Work independently and demonstrate good interpersonal skills.
- Communicate effectively to coordinate project tasks and present deliverables to clients and vendors.
Requirements
- HS diploma (or GED) and at least 5 years of construction/inspection experience on civil-related projects.
- Frequent walking on potentially uneven ground, standing, and stooping throughout each day.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A flexible work schedule and ability to meet project deadlines.
- A valid Driver’s License.

Skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction techniques, design, MDOT specifications and documents.

- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
