Construction Inspector

Responsibilities

• Construction observation and documentation on specific project site locations
• Field report preparation and record document preparation
• Interpretation of construction documents
• Travel to field locations on a regular basis

Requirements

• Prior relevant work experience and knowledge of all building trades - general contractor, electrical, mechanical and plumbing as well as stormwater pollution prevention plan (SWPPP) inspections
• Minimum of 3-5 years of Construction Inspection experience, or a 4-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture and minimum 2-3 years of Construction Inspection experience in the building trades
• Knowledge of erosion and sediment control installation and maintenance
• OSHA 10-hour certification, preferred
• Microsoft Office experience a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
