Construction Inspector

Responsibilities

• Follows and adheres to all federal and state regulations, client requirements and contracts, and company policies and procedures including but not limited to taxes, labor laws, safety, building codes, or environmental regulations.
• Inspects and monitors construction sites and the various work activities on these sites to ensure adherence to standards, codes and specifications; takes action according to findings.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• An associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred with course work in transportation related courses, Building Inspection, Home Inspection, Construction Technology, Drafting and Mathematics.
• 1 - 5 years of experience in the field or in trade-related training in a Design, Construction Inspection, or other Construction-related fields.
• ACI concrete certified, NETTCP paving certified, PCI certified and NACE level certification preferred.
