About the role
The Construction Inspector is responsible for inspecting underground water, wastewater, and stormwater pipeline projects to ensure compliance with city standards, contract specifications, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
Responsibilities
- Inspect underground water, wastewater, and stormwater pipeline projects
- Ensure compliance with city standards, contract specifications, and applicable regulations
- Identify and report potential safety hazards or non-compliance issues
- Document findings and provide recommendations for corrective actions
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of construction inspection procedures and regulations
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in construction inspection or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
