About the role
The Construction Foreman oversees daily operations, job site organization, and supervises a crew of workers performing various tasks such as grading, asphalt patching, and general labor duties.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates daily work activities, job site organization, and reading of plans.
- Schedules and organizes work crews.
- Orders required supplies and materials.
- Drive to various job sites as needed.
- Assists with general laborer duties as needed, including shoveling, laying asphalt, installing pipes, and operating heavy equipment.
- Maintains time and materials records for daily job costing.
- May be subject to drug testing, medical exams, and physical agility tests.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2 to 5 years of related construction experience or an equivalent combination of education and training.
- Standard Driver’s License required.
Work Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and criminal background check.
- Report to the job site dressed appropriately and ready to work at the designated start time.
- Adhere to safety and security procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Willingness to work independently and assist the team with other duties as required.

Work Environment
- Exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions, extreme cold and/or heat.
- Moderate to loud noise levels.
- Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
