Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform data collection using LiDAR scanners, UAV, and 360 cameras
- Perform field layout and verification using innovative technologies
- Verify subcontractor and self-perform layout using innovative technologies
- Follow safety procedures and SOPs while performing reality capture services
- Utilize independent judgement, problem-solving ability, and prioritization based on relevant factors
- Good communication skills to articulate challenges, potential reality capture use-cases, and success stories to internal and external clients
- Serve as an ambassador for CFT efforts and services internally/externally and collaborate with project teams
Management Responsibilities
- May manage direct reports
Knowledge/Skills/Ability
- Able to read and understand construction documents, shop drawings and plans
- Dependable and responsible
- Have the ability to quickly learn new hardware/software tools and teach others
- PREFERRED: Knowledge of/experience with: LiDAR hardware/software, robotic total stations, surveying
Education
- Associates Degree or Professional Course work in construction management, engineering, architecture or similar field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience
- Minimum 3+ years relevant construction experience
- Experience in construction layout or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Construction management applications such as Bluebeam, Procore or similar systems
- VDC technology such as Revit, AutoCAD or similar software
- Past reality capture a plus
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- OSHA 10 hour or 30 hour preferred
- FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot license is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk or hear, lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

- The employee may be occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock and vibration
- The noise level in the work environment is generally loud
