About the Role
The Construction Field Surveyor assists with the firm’s design teams in the construction administration phase.
Responsibilities
- Monitors project for construction document compliance.
- Provides existing conditions verification and as-built services (pre and post construction).
- Provides on-site representation services.
- Travel to various project sites from local sites to more remote sites in other states, including staying overnight as needed.
Requirements
- Equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or a technical degree related to the architecture/construction industry, construction project management, or superintendent/inspection services experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Physical Demands
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
- Able to climb ladders.
- Able to handle stressful situations and multi-tasking.
- Able to work under time constraints; long hours may be required.
- Overtime (40+ hours) may be required as needed.
