Construction Field Manager
Triad Associates (part of the Concordia Wireless family) is a nationwide construction services firm specializing in the development of wireless communication sites, with a focus on supporting telecom networks. We are contracted by major carriers to facilitate network upgrades including conversions from 4G to 5G.
About the role
We are looking to hire a Construction Field Manager who is not afraid to get their hands dirty in the field. This is a travel role, working alongside Project Managers and Project Director. A company truck is provided along with robust per diems and travel benefits. This role is a great career path to the next level. Candidates must reside in or around the Indianapolis area to be considered.
This is a 90% travel role (Midwest: IN, IL, MI, KY, OH).
Responsibilities
- Involved in daily activities in the field with no hesitation doing partial labor work
- Assist with site walks & field walks
- Travel around the Midwest to support multiple construction crews/sites
- Support and help Foremen, Technicians, and/or Subcontractors
- Communicate with clients on current and pending status of jobs
- Request quotes and order materials from various vendors for materials and services
- Attend conference calls and participate in project meetings
- Create daily and weekly schedules to support the management team
- Coordinate the final inspections of jobs as required
- Request COIs and surety bonds for permits and business licenses
- Arrange for construction testing and engineering services if necessary
- Climb ladders over 30 feet on rooftops, water tanks, and buildings using a safety harness
- Ensure job site remains safe, clean, and orderly
- Monitor and assist with field productivity, cost control, and scheduling
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must have prior experience managing and/or supporting tower or solar construction crews and/or subcontractors
- A working manager who is willing to work alongside their crews and get their hands dirty is required
- Fully proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Valid Driver's License and ability to travel 90% of the time for projects (Midwest region including IL, OH, IN, MI, KY)
- Able to climb ladders and assist with the use of construction equipment
- Able to lift 50 lbs. of equipment/materials
- Able to work some weekends during deadlines
- OSHA 10 or 30, CPR, and Lift Certifications a plus
Pay
Pay Range: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 annually. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
