Construction Field Engineer - Intern Summer 2027

About the role

Performs safe and efficient duties necessary in the heavy highway construction industry under general supervision. The role requires adherence to all personal protective equipment (PPE) and process requirements, with the ability to travel between jobsites.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company safety policies and practices
• Follow instructions and work as a member of a team
• Collaborate with all crews to complete necessary tasks
• Use hand tools and other equipment to complete tasks
• Ensure and maintain work quality
• Maintain jobsite cleanliness and organization
• Move materials of various types and weights
• Preserve and maintain work in progress and completed work
• Apply improved work procedures to ensure safety and efficiency
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Work outdoors in adverse weather conditions
