Construction Estimator – Glass & Glazing Systems

Location: Columbia, TN (Onsite) • Full-Time

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Estimator with expertise in glass and glazing systems to join our team in Columbia, TN. This role is responsible for preparing accurate project estimates, reviewing construction drawings, performing material takeoffs, coordinating with vendors, and supporting project execution for both residential and commercial glass projects.

Responsibilities

• Review blueprints, architectural drawings, and project specifications to prepare detailed material and labor estimates.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop accurate project cost estimates.
• Prepare competitive bids, quotations, and project proposals.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to obtain pricing, verify material availability, and confirm lead times.
• Collaborate with project managers and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Process change orders and maintain organized estimating documentation.
• Conduct occasional site visits for field measurements and project assessments when required.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of construction estimating experience.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating/takeoff software.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work full-time onsite in Columbia, TN.
