About the role

As a Construction Estimator at Nobus, you will play a critical role in analyzing project requirements, assessing costs, and developing accurate estimates for materials, labor, and timelines. This position requires strong analytical skills, industry expertise, and attention to detail to ensure that every project is executed within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment based on project specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to develop cost-effective construction solutions.
• Source pricing, analyze supplier bids, and negotiate competitive rates to optimize project costs.
• Identify potential budget risks and implement strategies to maintain financial efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, proposals, and project cost breakdowns.

Requirements

• 3+ years in construction estimating, cost analysis, or a related field.
• Proficiency in estimating software (such as ProEst, PlanSwift, or Bluebeam).
• Strong ability to interpret blueprints, evaluate bids, and forecast project costs.
• Ability to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with vendors, clients, and project managers.
