Construction Estimator

About the Role

ServiceMaster Restore is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join our Reconstruction team in Eugene. We specialize in helping homeowners and businesses recover from water, fire, mold, storm, and other property damage. As our Construction Estimator, you'll play a key role in preparing accurate estimates and working closely with project managers, adjusters, and customers throughout the reconstruction process.

Responsibilities

• Inspect residential and commercial properties and document losses with photos and detailed notes
• Prepare accurate reconstruction estimates using Xactimate
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop project pricing
• Ensure estimates meet insurance carrier guidelines and audit standards
• Work closely with Project Managers throughout each project
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, insurance adjusters, and carriers
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with insurance partners
• Keep estimate files organized and complete
• Resolve estimate revisions and discrepancies promptly

Requirements

• Construction experience and proficiency with Xactimate or similar estimating software
• Valid Oregon driver's license with a clean driving record for the past 3 years
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen

Qualifications

• Construction estimating experience
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other construction software
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Pay

Base salary of $5,000-$5,500 per month, depending on experience, plus monthly commission on completed jobs.
